As part of the training and staff exchange programs between Vietnamese institutions and the French consortium supporting the PFIEV, Nguyen Quoc Bao, senior lecturer at the University of Paris, has been invited to take part in the training program.Hanoi School of Civil Engineeringrecently concluded an enriching stay of several weeks at theEcole nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC), a long-standing partner of his institution.
During his stay, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao took part in a series of academic and scientific exchanges aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two establishments.
Highlights of this period include active collaboration with ENPC’s Navier laboratory, where Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao initiated the preparation of a scientific article on load-displacement relationships in road engineering structures.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao also attended courses on prestressed concrete and bridge design at ENPC, enriching his expertise in these fields and the teaching methods used at both institutions.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao’s participation in the symposium “Climate change: how are territories adapting?“, organized by ENPC in collaboration with its partners Leonard and lab recherche environnement, provided an opportunity to deepen understanding of environmental issues and adaptation solutions.
Finally, fruitful exchanges took place on the possibilities of study mobility between the ENPC and the Hanoi School of Civil Engineering, laying the foundations for an ever promising cooperation between the two institutions.
This visit, marked by a wealth of exchanges and collaborations, strengthened the links between the Hanoi School of Civil Engineering and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and contributed to the ongoing improvement of the PFIEV.
