Internships
& projects

The internship in a company is an essential component of the PFIEV training. It allows students to approach the world of work with more pragmatism. Two company immersions are planned in the program:

An immersion course of 4 to 8 weeks is compulsory at the end of the third year of the course. This internship allows the student to approach the years of specialization by having an experience of the reality of the company. More than scientific, the interest of the worker internship is above all a human experience, a first step towards the world of work. For their part, companies see it as an effective way of identifying future recruits who are aware of their working methods.
This internship takes place at the end of the fourth year. The objective is to learn about the profession of engineer and to acquire professional experience on a functional project, by applying academic knowledge and developing new professional skills for a minimum of 12 weeks.
The graduation project is a springboard to the world of work. During 6 months, the student in end-of-study project applies his academic knowledge in the service of a project, a company, a research program. The end-of-study internship must meet the expectations of a company: the student already has a foothold in working life under the dual supervision of a professor and an active engineer.

International: languages,
