The PFIEV Consortium Receives Erasmus+ KA130 Accreditation

The French consortium of the Engineering Excellence Training Program in Vietnam has officially received Erasmus+ KA130 accreditation —Consortium for Mobility in Higher Education.

Led by Grenoble INP – UGA, the application received a score of 92 out of 100, reflecting the quality of the project and the strength of the collaboration among the partner institutions.

An application that received particularly high marks

The assessment highlights, in particular:

  • the relevance of the consortium and its role within a long-standing and well-established Franco-Vietnamese partnership;
  • the complementary nature and academic experience of the member institutions;
  • the quality of the proposed governance, coordination, and financial management;
  • the expected impact on student and staff mobility;
  • the project’s contribution to skills development, scientific collaboration, and the internationalization of institutions.

The project received:

  • 29/30 for impact and dissemination;
  • 19/20 for the quality of the consortium’s composition and cooperation;
  • 17/20 for the design and implementation of activities;
  • 27/30 for the consortium’s suitability.

The evaluators described the project as mature, coherent, and fully operational, while highlighting the academic quality of the partners and the strength of its governance.

A Decisive Step for France–Vietnam Mobility

This accreditation now allows for the review of the Erasmus+ KA171 application submitted by the consortium to fund international mobility between French and Vietnamese institutions participating in the PFIEV.

A decision regarding this funding is expected in July 2026.

If selected, the partners will proceed with the formation of the consortium and will specify, in particular:

  • the roles and responsibilities of each institution;
  • administrative and financial arrangements;
  • the procedures for selecting and preparing participants;
  • monitoring, quality assurance, and recognition of mobility programs.

This accreditation represents an important step toward strengthening student and faculty exchanges, harmonizing practices among partner institutions, and adding a new dimension to Franco-Vietnamese cooperation led by the PFIEV.
