On June 14, 2024, in Da Nang, the four Vietnamese universities that are members of the PFIEV (Program for Training Engineers of Excellence in Vietnam) consortium received international accreditation certificates from the High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES) of the French Republic.
These are Hanoï Polytechnic Instutute, Ho Chi Minh-Ville Polytechnic Institute, Da Nang Polytechnic Institute, and Hanoï Shool of City Engineering. Covering the period from 2024 to 2029, this accreditation confirms their excellence in training and research. Elles avaient déjà été accréditées en 2017 et ont préparé des rapports d’auto-évaluation selon les nouvelles normes du HCERES. Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son congratulated these universities for their continuous efforts, stressing that this recognition reflects their commitment to improving educational quality and their contribution to national development. The French Embassy in Vietnam, which supports the program, was represented by Denis Fourmeau, Scientific Cooperation Officer.
