In the shadow of loss, we remember with respect and emotion the figure of Bruno Dagues, whose mark will remain indelible within the PFIEV and the academic community. His deep attachment to Vietnam and his tireless commitment to the development of the program were pillars of his professional and personal life. As we remember his exceptional contributions, we cannot ignore the man behind the accomplishments, an individual of remarkable humanity, insightful mind and unparalleled generosity. His passing on April 16, 2024 in Amélie-les-Bains-Palalda (France), at the age of 59, leaves a palpable void in our ranks. In these moments of mourning, our thoughts turn to his children, his family and his loved ones, to whom we extend our most sincere condolences. May his teachings and legacy continue to guide and inspire those he touched with his kindness and passion for knowledge.
