Call for applications: staff mobility France-Vietnam autumn 2026

The French PFIEV consortium is launching a new call for applications for short assignments in Vietnam in the fall of 2026. It is aimed at professors, lecturers and staff from consortium member institutions wishing to contribute to the pedagogical reinforcement of the Programme de Formation d’Ingénieurs d’Excellence in Vietnam.

Assignments are expected to last between one and two weeks, between September 1 and November 15, 2026. They may take the form of courses, seminars, workshops, training of trainers, support for pedagogical engineering, expert appraisals or exchanges of practices.

The Vietnamese partner establishments concerned are :

  • Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), Hanoi ;
  • Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Hanoi ;
  • University of Danang – University of Science and Technology (DUT), Đà Nẵng ;
  • Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Ho Chi Minh City.

Multi-site proposals will be particularly appreciated when they are both pedagogically coherent and logistically realistic.

Priority themes for 2026 include French as a foreign language / FOS / FOU, preparatory cycle mathematics and physics, the disciplines of the current PFIEV options – civil engineering, mechanics, IT, energy, environment, electronics, telecommunications, automation – as well as strategic developing themes: artificial intelligence, data science, railways, nuclear, semiconductors, drones and light aeronautics.

The missions selected will be financed under the PFIEV 2026 budget, subject to the availability of funds. Provisional funding includes a return economy-class ticket from France to Vietnam, as well as a flat-rate daily allowance of €158 per day on site, to cover living expenses, including accommodation and meals.

Applications will be examined on the basis of the relevance of the assignment to the needs of the PFIEV and Vietnamese establishments, the clarity of the proposed content, the expected pedagogical or structuring impact, the quality of preparation and the feasibility of the assignment.

Application deadline: Friday, June 12, 2026
Communication of results: end of June 2026
