Teaching or expert missions – 1 to 2 weeks – period: March-November 2026
The French PFIEV consortium is launching a call for applications for teaching, teacher training or expertise assignments with Vietnamese partner establishments.
Vietnamese establishments
The only institutions authorized to host missions are :
- Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE, Hanoi)
- Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST, Hanoi)
- University of Danang – University of Science and Technology (DUT, Đà Nẵng)
- Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT, Ho Chi Minh City)
Applications proposing a multi-site mission (visiting several of these establishments) will be highly valued.
Formats and priority themes 2026
Expected formats
- Courses, TD/TP, workshops, seminars, training of trainers
- Support for pedagogical engineering or program development
- Interventions in existing PFIEV options or in support of new themes
Priority themes
- French as a foreign language (FLE / FOS / FOU)
- Mathematics and/or physics
- Disciplines of current PFIEV options – civil engineering, mechanics, IT, energy, environment, etc.
- New strategic themes: nuclear, rail/transport, drones/light aeronautics, semiconductors, artificial intelligence/data science.
Original or innovative proposals that meet the needs of Vietnamese universities are encouraged.
Mission duration and period
- Between March and November 2026
- 1 to 2 weeks (including travel)
Payment & expenses (2025 scale)
- Return ticket France ↔ Vietnam paid for (economy class)
- Per diem: €158/day – covers accommodation & meals, based on actual program + 1 day before and 1 day after.
Selection criteria
- Consistency of the mission with the needs of the PFIEV and the establishments concerned
- Relevant and operational pedagogical or expert content
- Priority given to multi-site assignments
- Expected contribution to enhancing the skills of Vietnamese teams
- Teaching or international experience appreciated
