{"id":3101,"date":"2025-10-25T18:01:58","date_gmt":"2025-10-25T16:01:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pfiev.org\/ecole-des-ponts-welcomes-a-delegation-from-huce-a-month-of-railway-related-exchanges\/"},"modified":"2025-10-25T18:05:27","modified_gmt":"2025-10-25T16:05:27","slug":"ecole-des-ponts-welcomes-a-delegation-from-huce-a-month-of-railway-related-exchanges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pfiev.org\/en\/ecole-des-ponts-welcomes-a-delegation-from-huce-a-month-of-railway-related-exchanges\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00c9cole des Ponts welcomes a delegation from HUCE &#8211; A month of railway-related exchanges"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of the PFIEV program (Programme de Formation d&#8217;Ing\u00e9nieurs d&#8217;Excellence au Vietnam), three lecturers from<a href=\"https:\/\/en.huce.edu.vn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hanoi University of Civil Engineering <\/a>(HUCE) &#8211; Dr T\u1ed1ng Ng\u1ecdc T\u00fa (PFIEV director), Dr \u0110o\u00e0n T\u00f9ng and Dr Nguy\u1ec5n B\u00edch V\u00e2n &#8211; stayed at \u00c9cole des Ponts throughout October 2025.<\/p>\n\n<p>The mission, led by Federico Antoniazzi (director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ecoledesponts.fr\/mastere-specialise-systemes-transports-ferroviaires-urbains\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mast\u00e8re Sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9\u00ae STFU<\/a> &#8211; Syst\u00e8mes de transports ferroviaires et urbains) and Thibaut Skrzypek (referent for the PFIEV at ENPC), was aimed at strengthening academic cooperation in rail transport, discovering French teaching practices, and exploring opportunities for collaboration in research and training.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Vietnamese colleagues attended a number of courses on the STFU master&#8217;s program and other programs, including :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>railway operation simulation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>infrastructure design and maintenance,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>structuring rail projects,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>transport infrastructure financing (Clive Gallery),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and the links between engineering, urban planning and mobility in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ecoledesponts.fr\/master-transport-et-mobilite-tm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transport &amp; Mobility<\/a> (TM) and <a href=\"https:\/\/ecoledesponts.fr\/master-tradd-transport-developpement-durable\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TRADD <\/a>(transport and sustainable development) masters programs (Emeric Fortin).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>They also took part in the UIC&#8217;s international event on high-speed rail education on October 14, alongside several European universities.<\/p>\n\n<p>During their stay, they met with several researchers and laboratories:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tien Hoang and Anh-Minh Tang<a href=\"https:\/\/navier-lab.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(Navier laboratory<\/a>) on railway geotechnics,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laurent Bouillaut (GRETTIA &#8211; Universit\u00e9 Gustave Eiffel) on network maintenance and operation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Renaud-Pierre Martin, Franziska Schmidt and Le Hung Tran (EMGCU &#8211; Universit\u00e9 Gustave Eiffel) on rolling stock, track-train interaction and complex geotechnical zones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>A scientific exchange with Nacima Baron<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvmt.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(LVMT &#8211; Laboratoire Ville Mobilit\u00e9 Transport)<\/a> compared European and Vietnamese approaches to railway stations and the urban integration of networks.
